The assessment and characteristics of the main technical and economic factors affecting oil production are given.The presented results of the analysis of the dynamics and structural adjustment of oil production in the spatial aspect are aimed at improving the strategic management of the oil and gas complex in the country and regions in conditions of great uncertainty of the operating environment.
