All samples of P. fascicularis roots were colonized by AM fungi. The mean percentage of root length colonization ranged from 39% to 74%. Amongst the thirteen AM fungal morphospecies Kuklospora colombiana was the most widely distributed species. Species richness of AM fungi ranged from 3 to 6.
