The development of mercury ion selective electrode (ISE-Hg) by using ionophore 7,16-Di-(2-methylquinolyl)-1,4,10,13-tetraoxa-7,16-diazacyclooctadecane (DQDC) in an electrode membrane sensing is explained. The study is aimed to construct an ion selective electrode for mercury by immobilization of ionophore DQDC in a polymeric PVC membrane electrode. Membrane electrode was constructed by casting and spin coated methods from the mixture of DQDC and plastisizer in a polymeric PVC matrix dissolveddoi:10.5539/mas.v9n8p81 fatcat:vjkggz33wzdrpkdlcykdav55by
