In future it is necessary to form an optimal organisational and economic mechanism of functioning and development of the fruit market and instruments of state regulation, which would take into account specific features of horticulture and would not contradict with requirements of the World Trade Organisation. One of the main directions of the state budget support of development of the fruit market should be development of a proper market infrastructure, in particular, assistance to creation of production and service co-operatives with the aim to develop trade structure in rural districts.Всесторонне проанализированы особенности функционирования и раскрыты перспективы развития отечественного рынка плодов. Осуществлен прогноз конъюнктуры отечественного рынка плодов и раскрыты особенности его развития. Определены необходимые площади закладки плодовых насаждений садоводческими предприятиями, объемы инвестиций и источники покрытия. Установлено, что с расширением площадей валовые сборы плодов в 2020 г. могут составить до 0,8 млн т, а уровень потребления – 71 кг на человека в год. Рассчитаны показатели экономической эффективности инвестиционного проекта. Предусмотрено его финансовое обеспечение за счет 1,5%-го сбора, кредитов и собственных ресурсов хозяйств.
