Chili peppers are one of the horticultural commodities commonly cultivated commercially in tropical regions such as Indonesia. Sukamantri sub-district is the center of chili plants in Ciamis Regency with the largest planting area and harvest area of 296 hectares and the largest production value in Ciamis Regency of 37,644 tons.
