Population Growth and Environmental Degradation in Nigeria

Growth in the rate of a nation's population is linked with increased environmental degradation. This study analyzed the role of population growth, energy use, GDP, financial progress and trade on environmental degradation in Nigeria by utilizing ARDL technique from 1980–2014. The model bound test result shows a long run association among the variables.
