In this article, we summarize the contributions from different disciplines to the current state of statistics education viz. business, biology and medical sciences, psychology, economics, banking, astronomy, mathematics, and management; and also we discuss some applications of statistics and describe examples. The main goal of this paper is to show statistics is very important for any discipline. We discuss some applications of statistics in different discipline.
