Fast Handovers for the MIPv6 (FMIPv6) has been proposed to reduce the Handover latency, in the IETF. It could not find the acceptable reduction, so led to more efforts to improve it and however the creation of multiple Handover methods in the literature. A stable connection is very important in mobile services so the mobility of device would not cause any interruption in network services and thus mobility management plays a very important role.
