When Will People Learn? Democracy Just Doesn't Work

America has evolved into a hyper-democracy. Over the past 60 years the government has become more and more polarized, and by all indications, this trend is continuing, causing American government to be paralyzed on crucial issues. This happens directly, by the democratic incentive system, and indirectly, through polarization, as well as a mixture of both.
