Application of cornea scleral limbus incision in the transformation of ultrasonic cataract phacoemulsification

誗AIM: To explore the application of cornea scleral limbus incision (SICS + IOL) in the transformation from the operation of small incision to the surgery of ultrasonic cataract phacoemulsification. 誗METHODS: Totally, 200 cases (200 eyes) suffered from cataract and accepted surgery in our hospital from February 2012 to February 2013 were selected and undergone the surgery of cornea scleral limbus incision phacoemulsification. All the surgeries were successful. 誗 RESULTS: The actually successful performance of ultrasonic cataract phacoemulsification was of 172 eyes (86%) , and 28 eyes (14%) were transformed into the surgery of SICS + IOL. In 176 eyes (88%) , the patients蒺 postoperative visual acuity was 逸0. 5, in 22 eyes (11%) were 0. 1 ~ 0. 4 and in 2 cases (1%) were <0.
