Designing prequalified connections is a process of iterative calculation, in which certain dimensions are varied until the verifications and restrictions stipulated by the standard are met. From this, it was possible to obtain several end-plate connection design alternatives, and technical validation was carried out to verify the functionality of the program using a verification method proposed by a civil engineer.
