Magnetic nanoparticles are increasingly applied in biomedical diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. Due to their superparamagnetic properties it is possible to sense and manipulate these particles. In order to obtain the most effective operation of biomedical modalities and to achieve the highest comfort for the patients, it is essential to quantitatively assess the spatial distribution of the magnetic nanoparticles.
