Peritonsillar abscess is the most common deep neck infection in adults. However, pediatric patients have a smaller anatomy and are often unable to cooperate with examination and treatment. This article describes two cases of peritonsillar abscess in children. The first patient (5-year-old boy) complained of sore throat and pyrexia. CT findings suggested a peritonsillar abscess. Emergent transoral drainage was performed under general anesthesia. He was discharged without any complications. The
