Students' Experience on Cyberbullying towards Emotional Skill and Access on Social Media Content

It is significant to consider students' behavior and any potential violence connected with their Emotional skill. The established relationship with others by the context of school and surrounding also contribute on the way of person's behavior. In this fast growing technology which affects most of people aspects' of life, including at the education field for the students, which can drive or form their behavior by means of social media accessed on social networking sites. more » ... is performed by the students socially and emotionally to be expressed differently along with the use of electronic tools for the online content services. Those come together contribute to cyberbullying. It is a descriptive study by involving of 150 adolescents from junior high school of Surakarta City, Indonesia (51% boys, Mage = 13.25 years old, SD = 1.20). The results of this study showed that it was negatively related between students emotional skill to cyberbullying. On the other hand, it was connected more on the access on social media content to the bullying activities and or behavior in cyber way through networking sites. Further, it is highlighted to do intervention on social and emotional access for development.
