The theme chemical equilibrium is essential in the understanding and interpretation of the most diverse chemical transformation events in natural and industrial processes. However, learning this content presents great difficulty due to the abstraction necessary to understand its theory. This dissertation intends to support the teaching action in the teaching-learning of chemical equilibrium with a pedagogical orientation through proposals of a didactic sequence for the teaching-learning process
more » ... of fundamental concepts of chemical equilibrium. Thus, the proposed didactic sequence has, as its starting point, the representation of chemical reactions as ionic equations in aqueous solution. Through these contentes working them with the dataset of chemistry area (Tables), can be articulated the teaching-learning process of scientific concepts, such as: equilibrium constants, ionization constants, ionic product of water, solubilization of compounds, strong and weak electrolytes, formation of precipitates, acid-base theory of Bronsted and Lowry. The didactic sequence concludes with the application of chemical equilibrium concepts through the flipped classroom strategy to explain the cause of the Celobar® accident (drug used for radiological contrast in the stomach). The contribution of this work aims to point out ways for teachers to overcome the recurring difficulties in teachinglearning on this topic, particularly when considering the new structure of High School.
