Background: Teratomas are common neoplasms but are extremely rarely found in the parotid gland region, most benign teratomas are cystic, also known as mature cystic teratomas, and only 9 cases have been reported in the literature.Case presentation: Herein, we reported a single case of a patient with giant cystic teratoma in the left parotid gland deep lobe extended into the parapharyngeal space.
