Gender as a social construction that gave birth to dissimilarity, was born through socialization, culture, religion, and state power. The noble principles of Indonesian people since independence on 17th of August 1945 until the present, during 73 years of independence, are still unable to found a harmonious relationship between the press (read: media), government and society (women).
