In connection with the solution of actual environmental problems of limiting the migration of hazardous contaminants in groundwater aquifers, the appropriateness of vertical slot drains instead of wells is considered. With the use of computing mathematics, the effect of increasing the number of wells in a line of fixed length (density of line) on the hydraulic resistance of linear drainage wells is studied. The extreme convergence of wells is proposed to be replaced by the slot drain, constructed using the means of downhole jetting.
