more » ... ment. Their tireless efforts are enormously appreciated by me and all other graduate students and faculty. It is hard to believe that two years have passed since my arrival in Middletown. I have made many friends during my time at Wesleyan who have accompanied me to epic dinners, endless trips to bars, evenings of karaoke, celebrations of childbirth, inspired music making, formulations of new ensembles, campus and off-campus performances, house and apartment parties, backyard barbeques, basement and house concerts, and events of general camaraderie. These activities would have been nowhere near as enjoyable without sharing them with the following people (in no particular order):
