Particle and energy fluxes to the plasma facing components (PFCs) during edge localized modes (ELMs) are expected to unacceptably shorten the PFCs lifetime in ITER. In order to understand the consequences of kinetic effects of ELMs to PFCs, PARASOL simulations have been carried.
