AbstractThe emergence of multidrug-resistance (MDR) in Streptococcus pneumoniae clones and non-vaccine serotypes is of increasing concern, necessitating the development of novel treatment strategies. Here, we determined the efficacy of the Mn complex [Mn(CO)3(tpa-κ3N)]Br against MDR S. pneumoniae strains.
