The present deliverable summarizes the initial results on the development of tailored techniques for the adaptive directional LOS and NLOS reliable connectivity in RIS‐assisted communication systems that operate in high frequency bands, i.e., above 100 GHz. The RIS‐assisted systems are conducive, if not necessary, for the compensation of the attenuation in high frequency bands that are highly susceptible to blockages.
