<p><strong>Abstract.</strong> Here we document the morphology of the only known skull of a carettochelyid turtle from North America. The specimen originates from the middle Eocene (early Uintan) Washakie Formation of Sweetwater County, Wyoming, and is referred to <i>Anosteira pulchra</i> based on temporal considerations.
