Internet search market of key words attracts much attention in conjunction with the legal proceedings against Google. It has been recognized that legal argumentation alone may not be sufficient to disentangle the complexity of the case. An approach that includs mathematical modeling is needed, to distinguish the effects of the factors intrinsic to the market and the consequences of anticompetitive practices.
