He previously was a postdoctoral fellow at The Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy in Rootstown, Ohio. He was awarded an MA degree in Psychology from The University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut, and PhD in Psychology from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.
