This paper presents reflection upon "Window Flowers: Chinese Paper Cutting in Huangtu Plateau" (Fukuoka and Tokyo, 2013-2014) , a museum exhibition based on the author's ethnographic fieldwork. In the production process, the author collaborated with Chinese informants and a Japanese artist.
