Who reads F1000Prime publications? [dataset]

We have used the F1000Prime paper set to inquire the number of Mendeley readers per (sub-) discipline for each of the 114,582 bio-medical papers via the Mendeley Application Programming Interface (API). Although the (sub-) discipline of Mendeley readers is selfassigned and not mandatory, we find that a large share (99.9%) of F1000Prime paper readers at Mendeley does share their (sub-) discipline.
