The results of the work. Based on the analysis of theoretical aspects of ensuring labor and resource security, the essence of the basic concepts was clarified, their interrelation was grounded, the set of threats to the labor and resource security of Ukraine was determined. The scope of the results. Solving the problems of ensuring the labor and resource security of our country; the formation of a methodological basis for the preparation of candidates for higher education in the field of knowledge social and behavioral sciences. Conclusions: 1) analysis of the conceptual and categorical apparatus made it possible to determine the features of the relationship of its main components – labor resources and labor potential, as well as their impact on the level of labor and resource security. 2) it is determined that the mutual influence of the main components of labor and resource security occurs in the form of a cycle, the balance of which determines the level of labor and resource security. 3) the information platform was provided for further work aimed at developing the mechanism for countering threats to labor and resource security.
