Impact of Abuse Potential of Alcoholic and Non- alcoholic Fathers on Adjustment Pattern of Rural Adolescents

The study was conducted on a sample of 120 adolescents with alcoholic and non- alcoholic fathers drawn equally from six rural locations in Ludhiana district. Data were collected using a Personal Information Sheet, a self- structured Interview Schedule and an Adjustment Inventory. The alcoholic fathers were perceived to be as having high abuse potential by the adolescents; however majority of the girls (73.33%) experienced low abuse compared to boys.
