... essed remarkable progress in supporting women, and this is due to the political will to support women's issues and the translation of constitutional rights into laws, strategies and executive programs submitted by governmental and non-governmental agencies. A suitable space and atmosphere were created for the concerted efforts of all segments of society, including academic, legislative and religious institutions, in addition to many advocates of empowering women and girls at all levels. Therefore, the Egyptian state has developed a national strategy to empower women politically, economically and socially and provide protection for women. The importance of women's political empowerment and their participation in different levels of decision-making allows women to actively participate in planning and directing public policies in a way that serves not only gender equality, but also equality between all male and female citizens, in addition to Egypt's ratification of international treaties and conventions. The aim is to enhance the contribution of women in public and political life, in addition to Egypt's participation in many conferences related to this.
