In this paper, an efficient Hybrid Hierarchical Agglomerative Clustering (HHAC) technique is proposed for effective clustering and prototype selection for pattern classification. It uses the characteristics of both partitional (an incremental scheme) and Hierarchical Agglomerative Clustering (HAC) schemes.
