One of the classic sights of early Tripilye is a Bernashivka settlement that was investigated by V. Zbenovych in 1972- 1975, and continues its study since 2009 by D.K. Chornovil. The settlement refers to the most ancient period of Tripolie culture, which materials have inherent features of Lower Danube's Boian culture. ... cavation of area called «platform №8» deserves a special attention, given its size and specificity, which were discovered in the study. We believe the object has certainly economic specifics as the other functions and management of other forms of residents' life on this area were significantly limited by increasing the production process related to actions of primary processing of raw materials and manufacturing tools. That led to significant amount of unutilized raw materials, precores, fragments that were deposited directly into the cultural layer. A set of microliths is also important for the culture of Stone Age. At this time, a flint complex at Bernashivka is the most unique throughout the whole southwestern area of Neolithic cultures. This can be explained by several factors: 1) a functional need in making this specific kind of an arrowhead by a certain master; or 2) we are dealing with a quite composed complex with technological and cultural standards. In any case, it is impossible to characterize the production of technology at Bernashivka I as «the stage of foundation», so it should be considered as a well-established and standardized complex. Must be noted that the technology of manufacturing of flint products for Stone Age sites is the main cultural feature within the allocation of specific cultural groups and events.
