more » ... V. The SATURNE I1 Flarized bean of free neutrons obtained from t h e break-up of polarized deuterons was transmitted through t h e polar'ized Saclay frozen-spin proton target. The beam and target p o l a r i z a t i o n s were oriented i n the v e r t i c a l d i r e c t i o n . The present results agree with previous SATURNE measurements and improve t h e amplitude a n a l y s i s i n t h e forward d i r e c t i o n .
