In this paper the design of a DSTATCOM employing a Seven-Level Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter (CHBMLI) in medium voltage distribution power system is presented. The DSTATCOM helps to improve sending end & receiving end voltage and current drawn from a Non Linear Load (NLL).
