Mindfulness based intervention (MBI) has been found to promote well-being by reducing symptoms of stress and non-reactivity to experience. It has been found to facilitate post-traumatic growth and enhance vigour while relieving fatigue. It can contribute effectively to apathy and self-awareness. Schizophrenia patients suffer from lack of motivation, apathy, boredom and social isolation to name a few.
