In Search of Durango's Corn. Tensions between Free Market and Government Regulation in Times of War, 1943-1944

This work deals with the hardships created inMexicoby the 1943 bad corn crop. Within the context of World War II, shortage and high costs were more deeply felt, considering the difficulty of buying corn from other countries.
