Cosmetic puffs have a strong relationship with the performance of the powder foundations. If project managers of Cosmetics products know how to control the quantity of foundation put on the skin depending on the cosmetic puff used, then they will be able to select the most suitable puff for their foundation. It is natural to think that the quantity of foundation put on the skin is proportional to the quantity that puff takes from the foundation. However, it is actually not proportional. In this

First, we compare the surface cells size with the quantity of the foundation put on the skin by puffs. Then, we compare the correlation coefficient between the cell capacity measured by a laser microscope and the quantity of foundation used. Finally, from the results, we proceed with a sensory evaluation of the cosmetic puff. The samples were calculated that the minimum and maximum quantity sample putting on the skin the cosmetic by our study. In conclusion, the quantity of foundation put on the skin is more related to the virtual cell capacity than to the apparent cell size. Moreover, it has a minus correlation coefficient. It is the difference between the sense of appearance and the actual micro behavior.
