more » ... s. We also found the strongest effects of psychosocial resources on life satisfaction among caregiving parents who have spent longer duration on caregiving than other caregivers. Lastly, the buffering effects of psychosocial resources on caregivers' health were stronger for mental health than physical health. This study suggests the usefulness of openness to experience and emotion regulation on mental health and shows how the effects differ by caregiving subgroups. Future studies need to continue examine the effects of psychosocial resources on caregiver's physical health to understand the linkage between caregiving and biological health risks.
