Chernivtsi region, or as it is called, North Bukovyna, is located in southwestern Ukraine and borders on Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky and Vinnytsya regions of Ukraine. In the province there is a frontier between Ukraine and Romania and Moldova.
