key insights ˽ Secure multiparty computation (MPC) is an extremely powerful tool, enabling parties to jointly compute on private inputs without revealing anything but the result. ˽ MPC has been studied for over three decades in academia and has strong theoretical foundations. In the past decade, huge progress has been made toward making MPC efficient enough for use in practice.
