Recognizing humans by their ear have recently received significant attention in the field of research. Ear is the rich in characteristics. The ear recognition does not suffer from some problems associated with other passive biometrics, such as face recognition and the ear shape very stable with respect to age. Further, the ear can be used for human recognition in surveillance videos where the face may be occluded completely or in part.
