This paper reconsidered the utility and overviews of SEIQoL-DW (the Schedule for the Evaluation of Individual Quality of Life-Direct Weighting) from the perspective of G. A. Kelly's personal construct psychology. This assessment shows which participants were evaluated QOL using a semi-structured interview, and can measure Individual QOL. Therefore, when we focus attention on the context in which a participant lives and their value system from the perspective of constructivism, it may facilitate a deeper understanding of our QOL.
