In this papez Spherical harmonics are used in 2D image matching. Because it is a 3D descriptog the 2D image should be reconstructed to 3D shape. Thus, we use two different methods: direct mapping and mapping based on the Logpolar Transforrn, For modeling, the effectiveness of our method is confirmed in experiments.
