On the base of studying multistage instrumental toothed mechanisms provided earlier computer-aided design of multistage gear drives, optimized by criterion of minimum volume is considered. The sowfware's CAD-systems including computer programs for multistage gear drives of ledge wise, coaxial and orbital arrangements are developed.
