The heterocyclic compounds, mainly carbohydrate-based surfactant, 1, 4 Sorbitan, namely (Sorbitan Mono-stearate with 20 moles of Ethylene oxide SMS-20-EO, Sorbitan Mono-oleate SMO, and Sorbitan Mono-oleate ethoxylated with 20 moles of Ethylene oxide SMO-20-EO ) have been synthesized and characterized through different spectroscopic methods (FTIR, 1H NMR).
