This presentation was given for OpenAIRE Tech Clinic webinar on 21 June 2021, focusing on the OpenOrgs tool. Unambiguously identifying organizations involved in the research work may not be a trivial task. Their names can be derived from various data sources, each of which often contains a different version of the organization's name (full legal name, short or alternative names, acronym, and so on) and different metadata fields.
