more » ... . The motive forces behind this kind of self-employment are discussed in relation to unemployment and discrimination in the Swedish labour market. Other aspects of entrepreneurship to be discussed are related to the "importation" of Thais as "tourists" to Sweden, where they are exposed to severe exploitation in the informal economy. Different expressions of ethnic entrepreneurship are discussed in the context of the "global city" and its various types of citizen.
