Electron acceleration by a wavy shock front: details on angular distribution
2010
Proceedings of the International Astronomical Union
AbstractWe studied numerically electron acceleration by a perpendicular wavy shock. Distribution function of accelerated electrons is highly anisotropic, with many sharp peaks. The peaks are caused by (usually single) reflections of electrons by the shock and subsequent transmission.
