It is described the clinical case of a rare disease – cholangiocarcinoma of the common bile duct, which developed in patient with chronic pseudotumor-like pancreatitis. It is reflected the complexity of diagnosis at an early stage of the disease. The method of confocal laser endomicroscopy was for the first time applied for the given pathology for diagnostic purposes that allowed to clarify and verify the diagnosis.
