The problems of structural syntax, in particular dependency grammar, attract the attention of Russian and foreign linguists who explore syntactic links within sentences and between them. We consider the study of the sentence syntactic structure in the Russian language to be currently relevant, since the word order in the Russian sentence is free and involves several options for constructing sentences. The data of the study was taken from the book "Dior. Fashion Dictionary. Learn How to Dress: A
more » ... Guide for Women" translated from French into Russian by Yu. L. Pliskina. The choice of research material is determined by the fact that the text contains highly specialized terms, related to the subject of fashion and located inside complex syntactic structures that are of interest for linguistic research. The book was first published by Cassell & Co. Ltd in 1954. It groups, in alphabetical order, women's wardrobe items and items related to clothing, such as fabrics and colors. Each denotation corresponds to a description that gives us an idea of what place this or that item occupies in a woman's wardrobe. When considering the construction of syntactic units in this book, we identified the main morphological features of the lexicon and made conclusions regarding the features of syntactic links in fashionable discourse.
